ISQua's 38th International Conference in Brisbane, 17-20 October

The head of the WHO Quality of Care Unit, Dr Shams Syed, recently attended ISQua's 38th International Conference in Brisbane, Australia. The conference theme was 'Designing for the Future - Community, Resilience and Sustainability'.
Dr Shams Syed introduced and presented findings from a new WHO discussion paper entitled 'Health care accreditation and quality of care: Exploring the role of accreditation and external evaluation of health care facilities and organizations'.
